My attitude to students
In my opinion the most important part of teaching maths is to carry the beauty and the simplicity of the subject when with respect to the study tempo of an particular student. I believe in trusting in each and every student, the fact that each one has the potential to do and understand the mathematics exposed to that person. I believe that the intent of teaching is to supply each child with skill-sets and logical argument to function and develop in the general public. Therefore, I intend to treat my learners respectfully and to be as encouraging as I can be in the education process while challenging them to find new ways of thinking and new thoughts and rules. I will definitely note each specific student's needs within reason of what is possible and what instruments are available in the class. I will anticipate to put in as much or more effort and time as I await from my students. I will accept that I need as much to grasp yearly as my students, and I will be flexible enough to receive critical remarks and open to new methods of educating in an effort to range each of the learning styles.
My role in tutoring
I see my position at this stage as a pro, far likewise their real school teachers are, still, also as a new supplier of encouragement and assistance. My task is that of a mentor simply because I don't teach the whole day day of lessons as my grand teacher does, thus I will be a source the students can use to obtain supplementary assistance or can count on when it comes to encouragement. My task is also that of a student, so I see myself as a prolongation of my students, I am definitely learning through all of them what it really means to be an efficient maths tutor.
How I help my students improve
Compared to plenty of tutoring establishments in the suburb of Edensor Park, at the time of the normal school year, I actually represent the material which the learner obtains in his/her lesson. In other words, I don't require that learners do beyond worksheets and assignments which are not really part of the student's maths course, still, instead, I coach the child in sections of his/her mathematics course which can be actually complicated such as clarity and intensity of comprehension, applying of models, and test-taking strategies. All that I do is related closely to assisting the child to better realise the information from the mathematics course of study that she/he is getting and in order to increase the grade in that class.
